Design your own yoga holiday

You are always welcome to design your own yoga holiday at Zazenda Yoga Retreat, where I currently teach. Simply book your stay via Airbnb (at Zazenda House) and send me a note if you’d like tailored yoga classes to suit your needs.

What the retreat includes

Two yoga sessions a day

The retreats include two yoga sessions a day. A morning practice with Hatha Yoga, breathing exercises, mantra, visualisation and meditation. A little shorter evening practice with Yin Yoga, breathing, meditation and chanting. Totally 3–4 hours yoga daily.

After morning yoga we enjoy a brunch together. The afternoon is free for enjoying the beaches or hikes to the twin cities of Igalo and Herceg Novi with a 7 km long strand promenade and numerous cafes and restaurants.

Come as you are, no fancy yoga clothes nor acrobatics needed, just bring your own yoga mat. We will slowly unwind listening to joyful chirping in the garden.

A note on our tradition

Our yoga style is inspired by the classical Tantric philosophy which is the origin of Hatha Yoga and all modern postural yoga, specifically the teachings of enhancing the subtle body. (Obs! We don’t practice Neo-Tantra which is a cultural appropriation of the Classical Tantra and focuses mostly on sex while the Classical version is about awareness cultivation.)

Here is a link explaining the difference — enjoy this excellent podcast (link coming soon).
